September issue out now!

by

Beaming faces, gleaming bikes and steaming hot weather – together, a great recipe for the 401st sparkling issue of Back Street Heroes!

The shimmering September mag is stuffed with shows, rallies and events that you lot have been baring your flesh at – that scorching weather that persisted during June and early July (instead of persisting it down!) allowed everybody to shed a few layers of clothing and kick back in the sunshine.

So, we’ve got the following for your delight – reports from the Farmyard Party; Norrtalje Custom Bike Show; Breach of the Peace Rally; Bideford Bike Show and Diamond Day. And we’ve also got some great news ahead of the Copdock Motorcycle Show in Suffolk in October – by coughing up the princely sum of £1, you stand a chance of winning a glorious Moto Guzzi Bellagio 940 cafe racer! Full details are in the mag.

We’ve also got a special feature section on the winners of last year’s BSH Bike Building Championships – Best Chopper, Best Paint, Best Engineering, Best New School Custom and Best Custom – and, as the final round of the 2017 championships is taking place at the Bulldog Bash from 10th-13th August, we’ll soon have the final line-up of entrants for this year’s contest for you to vote on later this year.

You really must not miss Rick Hulse’s wince-inducing but side-splitting column… his radical ideas for which natural materials could go to make long-lasting motorcycle helmet liners and roadworthy tyres will have you howling with laughter (but maybe crossing your legs at the same time)…

Oh, and not forgetting some fabulous bikes for you to drool over. There’s Destiny Cycles’ latest build, a Triumph bobber; Nik climbs aboard the new Triumph Bonneville T120; and we feature another stunning Triumph bobber. So whichever way you look at it… it’s a Triumph, this mag, it really is.  Plus we’ve got news, products, tech stuff, Louise Limb’s latest lovely artistic offering, pictures of Readers’ Lives, the latest in our project build series and an update on the XSR Evolution… another chance to wince as you read about Nik’s lucky escape after a bag strap malfunction on the way to That London.
