DR800 of unknown year. One off frame & general fabrication by yours truly. All machined parts by my best mate Shaggy. Front end; DR800 stanchions running early GSXR750 sliders, ZXR750 rear wheel with 180 tyre, XJ600n disc with adapter to suit. Rear wheel is also a ZXR750 item with a 190 tyre. It’s never going to be a show winner, but I love it & that’s all that matters to me.
I’d been around chops since the 80s & spent some time in Hampshire NCC in my younger years.
I hadn’t had a hardtail in about 18 years & had a hankering for another, thought I’d get away from the usual Jap 4s that I was used to & went for the biggest single I could source.
