You may remember Jason Mellers’ ultra-skinny ‘Cream Machine’ Sportster from a couple of years ago, which he’s now sold as, like many of the other lads in the Last Week of July collective, he likes to have a new (or radically reworked) bike for each year’s travels.
When Glenn Townsend was living in Thailand, he saw a chopper for sale over there (the Thai chopper scene is amazing!) – a hardtailed Honda Bros 400 with a handmade teardrop tank, headlight cowling, mudguards, and side panels.
Due to the torrential rain on the weekend of Bumtoberfest on Mersea Island in Essex the team weren’t able to create a full report, so they’ve provided some pictures of the custom show.
James’ rather gorgeous Yamaha XS650, built in a very Whitby 77-style with a ZX-10 radial front end. All work by owner, except the paint. Will be in Back Street Heroes soon!
